Kilian Pender

Chief Executive Officer

Kilian began his career working in investment banking at Credit Suisse where he advised on a range of transactions across various industries. Kilian subsequently moved into private equity / hedge fund investing spending time with both Blackstone and Centerbridge Partners. At these firms he focused on strategic investments across various assets classes and capital structures, with a particular focus on real estate investing.

Kilian received his undergraduate degree in economics from Trinity College Dublin and completed a masters in political economy at the London School of Economics. Kilian is also the Founder of the Greenstone Finance Company.

David Rendell

Chief Risk Officer

David has 35 years’ experience in the banking and financial services sectors covering corporate and consumer lending.  Most recently, David was Chief Risk Officer of GE Capital’s regulated entity in the Netherlands, GE Artesia Bank.

David brings his in-depth experience of the energy sector to the Green Deal Finance Company, having worked as Managing Director of the Green Financing Division of GE Capital EMEA from 2010 to 2013 driving their growth in the renewables financing sector. David has also worked at Lloyds Banking Group, where he was a senior member of the Management Team, as well as Midland Bank (now part of HSBC). David attended the University of Nottingham.

Felix Connor

Chief Information Officer

Felix is a highly experienced CIO having overseen the technology and operations at a number of corporate and retail banks. Felix has been responsible for leading group wide initiatives in technology, including defining the operations and IT strategy for ANZ, First Gulf Bank and KBank across EMEA and APAC regions.

He also spent time as Head of Technology with Axa Paris, where he led technology change and transition, and with Zurich Financial Services as the UK CIO for General Insurance.

Victoria Wilson

General Counsel

Victoria has spent much of her career at the interface of Government and the private sector. She has worked for the last 10 years as a consultant managing the legal aspects of a number of high profile projects, including the transfer of international train services from Waterloo to St Pancras, the creation of the HS2 General Counsel role, the international corporate restructuring of Eurostar and the launch of the Green Deal.

Prior to that, Victoria spent 9 years as the Director of Corporate and Legal Services at Eurostar. She began her career as a solicitor with Slaughter and May. Victoria has an MA in Law from Cambridge University and first class honours in the Solicitors’ Final Examination from the College of Law.

Harvey Nijjar

Chief Financial Officer

A qualified accountant with over 20 years’ experience in IT and financial services, Harvey has held a number of senior roles in large banks and more recently, within challenger banks.

Working at Aldermore Bank, Citi Bank and HSBC, he has covered various roles within finance, focusing on strategic planning, corporate finance and financial management both in the unsecured and secured lending space. Most recently he was Chief Investment Officer at Future Finance.

Harvey also oversaw a leading asset disposal and balance sheet restructuring program for a large US bank during the financial crisis and strategic planning and IPO readiness for a bank.
